Atlanta CITGO Lubes Plant Volunteers Sort and Pack Nearly 8,000 Pounds of Food for Atlanta Community Food Bank

On August 18, 2012, employees and family members of the Atlanta CITGO Petroleum Corporation lubricant blending plant participated in a hands-on project by volunteering at the Product Rescue Center for the Atlanta Community Food Bank. The CITGO team sorted and packagedapproximately 7,770 pounds of food - enough for 5,149 meals. The Atlanta Community Food Bank provides these packaged grocery items to more than 700 non-profit partner agencies in the Metro Atlanta and North Georgia areas.
