Art for Trees, A TD Forests Project
On October 31, the 10 original pieces of environment-focused artwork commissioned as a part of TD Bank’s “TD Forests: Art for Trees” campaign became available for purchase in an online auction. Following the close of the auction on November 14, all proceeds raised will be donated to four New York City environmental non-profits.
Those interested in purchasing the artwork can view all of the pieces and prices online now. There will also be an option for collectors to buy the artwork immediately at full value.
All proceeds from the sale of the original art will be equally distributed amongst the New York Restoration Project, Friends of the High Line, Brooklyn Botanic Garden and Trees New York.
Replicas of the artwork are currently on display in the windows of more than 100 TD Bank Stores throughout the five boroughs.
The 10 artists who donated original pieces of art to “Art for Trees,” include Federico Herrero, Sharon Harper, Dustin Yellin, Ivan Stojakovic, Eileen Neff, Philippa Lawrence, Clara Fialho, Kathleen Vance, Elizabeth Whalley and Julie Goldstein.
