American Standard Gold S9V2 Furnace: The first family in a new S-Series platform
With the Gold S9V2 family of furnaces, American Standard has designed its first new furnace platform in 25 years. Highly knowledgeable dealers from across the country participated in its design, drawing on more than 300 years of combined experience. The result is improved performance as well as easier installation and service, all while maintaining the DNA of durability for which American Standard is known.
The furnace has been redesigned from the ground up and features four major sub-systems, including an industry-first integrated furnace control board that allows for more intuitive diagnostics; a new Vortica® II blower that quietly delivers more airflow; stainless steel primary and secondary heat exchangers that are more durable and corrosion resistant than aluminized steel; and a three-way poise feature (up, left or right) and dedicated downflow with multiple venting options in each poise, for installation flexibility.
AccuComfort™ Variable Speed Systems: Maximize home comfort at lower operating cost
The AccuComfortTM Variable Speed Platinum 18 Heat Pump comes with technology that allows the variable speed system to consistently adjust to run at a more efficient speed to maintain a homeowner’s preferred level of comfort all year round. Also using variable speed technology, the ForefrontTM Platinum TAM8 Air Handler provides reliable and efficient comfort, with even cooling and heating from room to room. Paired with AccuLink™ communicating technology, the air handler helps deliver cleaner air and less moisture.
Ductless Multi-zone Systems: Better comfort and increased efficiency
American Standard’s ductless systems for heating and cooling bring efficient, convenient and economical comfort to homes built without ducted heating systems or where installing ductwork may be impractical or too expensive. The 4MXW8 Indoor High Wall Heat Pump can be mounted on an interior wall for flexible, small-space heating and cooling. The 4TXM6 Outdoor Heat Pump offers efficient heating and cooling for multiple zones. The multi-split heating and ductless cooling system’s twin rotary compressor provides more even comfort while helping to lower utility bills.
The Nexia™ smart home system: Home comfort at your fingertips
The Nexia™ smart home system gives homeowners peace of mind by integrating all of the home’s smart devices into a single monitoring tool, allowing them to remotely manage features and functions of the home from any Internet-enabled device. With Nexia, users can remotely control up to 200 Z-wave connected products, like lights, locks and thermostats, creating a truly smart home that adjusts to everyday life.
Two connected control products provide families with convenient remote access to control their home’s comfort through Nexia.
