PLANO, Texas, February 22, 2018 PLANO, Texas -- Alliance Data Systems Corporation (NYSE: ADS), a leading global provider of data-driven marketing and loyalty solutions, today announced it was named one of the 2018 FORTUNE 100 Best Companies to Work For, according to global research and consulting firm Great Place to Work and FORTUNE.
Alliance Data is ranked No. 82 on the annual list, which is based on survey responses from more than 310,000 employees rating their workplace culture on 50-plus elements. The ranking accounted for the experiences of all employees including women, people of color, LGBT individuals, older team members, and disabled employees.
"I am honored to work alongside our 20,000 dedicated and passionate associates who made this award possible. The FORTUNE 100 Best Companies to Work For represents the last jewel in the Triple Crown, completing the top three goals of any major company: to be one of the most valuable (S&P 500); to be one of the largest (FORTUNE 500); and to be one of the most sought-after employers in the nation," said Ed Heffernan, president and chief executive officer, Alliance Data. "Great Place to Work research shows that list winners who place their human capital as a top priority keep outperforming the stock market, beating industry rivals when it comes to talent retention, and demonstrating higher levels of productivity and long-term success than peers. This award recognizes what we already knew internally, but we are thrilled to be named one of the 2018 FORTUNE 100 Best Companies to Work For."
"The 2018 100 Best are true leaders," said Michael C. Bush, CEO of Great Place to Work. "In the face of competition, change, and financial constraints, they consistently prioritize building the trust, pride, and camaraderie that fuels business performance. And they're doing it at scale for everyone, regardless of who they are or what they do for the organization."
The 100 Best Companies is one of a series of rankings by Great Place to Work and FORTUNE based on employee feedback from Great Place to Work-Certified™ organizations. Alliance Data has also been ranked as a Best Workplace for Diversity by Great Place to Work and FORTUNE.
