The report highlights activities in the four focus areas critical to the company’s long-term success and sustainability across the enterprise, including:

- Community: Protecting and nurturing the vitality of our communities by investing in programs that demonstrate a measurable impact

In addition to formalizing the governance structure to guide the organization’s corporate responsibility strategy, other highlights from the 2013 report include:
- Partnering with industry associations and peers in a first-of-its-kind collaborative roundtable to help inform best practices related to responsible data-driven marketing, and educating legislators, policy makers, regulators, consumers, and other constituents
- Introducing new benefits for associates (employees) based on feedback from internal surveys, and achieving recognition as a “Best Place to Work” in numerous locations across the lines of business
- Investing nearly $4.5 million in communities, and volunteering more than 15,000 hours in communities
- Completing the first enterprise-wide greenhouse gas (GHG) inventory and enterprise-wide waste management survey, establishing baselines for future programs and performance
The Corporate Responsibility report documents baseline environmental, social and governance performance, and contains stated goals for the year ahead.
