Alexion Partners With PluSport for Second Year

July in Zurich began with five Alexion employees traveling to Magglingen for the 58th PluSport Day, a recreational sports event that brings together 1,500 athletes with disabilities. This is Alexion’s second year working with PluSport, Switzerland’s umbrella organization for handicapped sports. Alexion employees spent the day refereeing and facilitating a variety of activities including a crowd favorite, the basketball toss. 

The Alexion employees in Zurich were excited to serve their community, which is a core component of the Company’s CSR-STAR platform. Everyone who participated felt that giving back to this community of athletes with disabilities was the best way to spend a Sunday. Bettina Nauli is the General Manager of the Zurich office and this was her second year volunteering with PluSport. “Seeing their happy faces and true joy is very rewarding,” she said.
