Alexion Employees Build and Donate Wheelchairs to Boston Medical Center

At Alexion, a core component of our commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is Serving Our Communities. Recently, our General Managers (GMs) from around the world came together in Boston for a multiday leadership development workshop.  After one of the sessions, the GMs spent some time together building wheelchairs for patients at Boston Medical Center.

The group divided into three teams, each building a wheelchair while also answering questions related to the history and development of wheelchairs. With positive energy and a healthy level of competition, each team leveraged the strengths of its members and cooperated with the other teams to accomplish their shared goal of giving back to those who need it most.
