Airline Industry CSR Data Featured in Latest SPONSORIUM Report
Community Investment and Sponsorship Data Aggregated from Software Used by Brands Around the World
MONTREAL, JUNE 11, 2014 /3BL Media/ – Cause related sponsorships continue to surge around the world. The latest data-supported example is this month’s SPONSORIUM Report focusing on the Airline industry. Volume of activities tracked by brands increased 39% over the last two years.
The infographic style Report, comprised of both Sponsorship and Community Investment editions, is published by SPONSORIUM International, the world’s first and leading Sponsorship and Community Investment management software provider. Topics vary each month, and the data examined at the end of May is exclusively from Airlines. Average donation amounts requested of Airlines last year are also shared, equaling $83,763; a figure higher than most other industries that the SPONSORIUM Report has drilled-down into.
The SPONSORIUM Report publishes data and insights globally, as well as regionally for many countries including the United States and Canada, Europe, Asia Pacific and the Middle East, to improve benchmarking ability in the Sponsorship and Community Investment industries.
Additional insights from the industry specific version of the report (Sponsorship edition) include the change in Rights Fees paid by Airlines within various sectors. Arts, for example, saw a 5% increase in fees being paid over last year. The PerforMind software also measures Return On Objectives for brands (on a 1,000 point scale). In the case of Airlines, Festivals and Fairs score highest against sponsor objectives, averaging just over 7% better than other sectors.
The May edition of the Report uses data collected from throughout the previous year – over 50,000 opportunities and partnerships in all taking place (in 2013), in 145 different countries. The data is collected from the PerforMind™ software, which over 250 brands around the world rely on to track and evaluate their own Sponsorship and Community Investment and activities.
"Sponsorship managers and Corporate Responsibility directors need access to real-time and meaningful data to successfully justify their decision making. The SPONSORIUM Report provides that opportunity. The data literally empowers them,” said Paul Pednault, Founder and President of SPONSORIUM.
“Industry specific data, especially for an industry as visible as Airlines, is highly relevant for brands to understand and compare themselves to,” said Seth Leeds, Editor of the SPONSORIUM Report.
The SPONSORIUM Report publishes monthly, and is available for free interactivity via the website www.SponsoriumReport.com or found in the Reports & Statistics area of the PerforMind™ software.
