2 LBG Canada Webinars scheduled for May

In the month of May we are offering two introductory webinars - Introducing SROI and Getting Started with LBG Canada.

*Introducing SROI – Wednesday, May 26th

This webinar will introduce SROI (social return on investment) as a tool for both investors and community partners. First developed in the early 1990s by Jed Emerson of the Roberts Enterprise Development Fund www.redf.org in California, SROI is a planning and evaluation tool increasingly used by investors seeking to demonstrate the value of their decisions. SROI is also being used by community partners seeking to demonstrate the value created through the effectiveness of their programs.

A Social Return on Investment (SROI) analysis provides an investor (corporate, governmental, foundation or individual) with an overview of the financial, social and environmental value created through their investments. From a community investment (CI) perspective, SROI can provide corporate investors with financial information to illustrate the value they create through targeted CI projects.
