Schaumberg Toyota/Scion Presents Angel Wings Foundation with a New 2014 Toyota Highlander

Schaumburg, IL, January 20, 2014 /3BL Media/ - Schaumburg Toyota/Scion presented a new 2014 Toyota Highlander to Angel Wings Foundation as part of the Toyota 2013 Cars for Good program a major philanthropic initiative in which the automaker is giving away 100 cars to 100 nonprofits over the course of 50 days, based on votes from the public. The 100 Cars for Good program benefits organizations that touch real lives and is the first Toyota initiative that engages the public in how corporate philanthropic donations will be awarded.

During the voting phase, which began Oct 1, 2013, the 100 Cars for Good program profiled five finalists at www.100carsforgood.com. Members of the public were able to vote for which nonprofits they believe d could do the most good with the new vehicles. The two organizations with the most votes at the end of each day won one of the five Toyota models. Runners-up receive a $1,000 cash grant from Toyota.

Angel Wings Foundation will use the new vehicle to help expand their reach and mission by providing residents with additional opportunities for independence.
