On Thursday, November 1st, 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm EST, CBSR Associate Coro Strandberg will lead a discussion about the future of CSR. A focal point of the Chat will be to engage the global CSR community in a discussion informed by CBSR’s newest research on the “Qualities of a Transformational Company”.
The “Qualities of a Transformational Company” are being developed to act as a guide for medium and large companies who recognize the need to scale up their CSR and sustainability efforts in order to address systemic societal risks, challenges and opportunities.

Particpants will be encouraged to share their views guided by the following questions:
1. Where do you see CSR going over the next 10 years?
2. Can shareholder corporations ever become truly sustainable? Why or why not?
3. Which Canadian companies are the most transformational or sustainable?
4. What are the barriers preventing Canadian companies from becoming sustainable?
5. What qualities would you look for in a CEO to move his or her company forward on CSR?
6. What are you most optimistic about in terms of CSR?
