PeaceKeeper Cause-Metics™, the enterprise philanthropic cosmetics line which gives donations to women’s health advocacy and urgent human rights issues asked some of the leading make-up artist for their favorite beauty tip to support PeaceKeeper’s global advocacy work. Take a look at their amazing suggestions below and become a PeaceKeeper:

SHALINI VADHERA

HOT TIP: I love the beauty secret of the women in the Dominican Republic-- They take chopped garlic and add it to clear nail polish. Let it brew for 7-10 days and then use the concoction to polish your nails until they're strong and healthy.

Notable Clients: Cybil Shephard, Jamie Lee Curtis, Lisa Rinna, Brooke Burke and Emmanuelle Chriqui

LEANNE HIRSH

HOT TIP: Moisturize skin to even out skin tone, and use tinted moisturizer or concealer mixed with moisturizer to keep skin dewy. Use a little lip stain and rub the leftovers on the apples of your cheeks. Apply a little mascara or eye pencil, or nothing at all depending on how fresh you feel, and you are good to go. Powder only under extreme conditions, or if super oily, otherwise dewy is the best texture for radiant skin.

Notable Clients: Angelina Jolie, Jessica Simpson, Anne Hathaway, Rihanna, Jessica Alba

KRISTY KERR

HOT TIP: Use water while applying makeup. I often mist the face before starting, and use it a lot during the application. It allows flawless blending. I like working with a damp sponge to blend edges of concealer and foundation. To finish an application I mist a large powder brush and work in circular motion all over the face.

Notable Clients: JoJo, Vanessa Minnillo, Carson Daly and Pete Wentz

PeaceKeeper Cause-Metics is an enterprising philanthropic brand which makes donations to women’s health advocacy and urgent human rights issues. PeaceKeeper funds women who have been indentured or who live on a dollar a day. Therefore, what is important about PeaceKeeper is that we source raw ingredients like rosemary and spearmint from third world farmers and give micro-credit loans to the families of those farmers. This is called Beauty For Humanity – Good For You & Good For The World! Now That’s Beautiful™. To learn more about PeaceKeeper Cause-Metics visit them at www.iamapeacekeeper.com
