(3BL Media / theCSRfeed) March 24, 2011 – The Natural Step Canada is pleased to announce that its Founder, Dr. Karl-Henrik Robèrt, has been selected as an Ashoka Globalizer. The prestigious recognition follows Dr. Robèrt’s nomination as an Ashoka Fellow.
“We are very proud of the recognition that Dr. Robèrt has received which honours his unique ability to create a movement for change toward a sustainable world,” said Kelly Hawke Baxter, Executive Director of The Natural Step Canada. “He has an unwavering commitment and bold vision for a sustainable future and he continues to demonstrate that compassion, creativity, and collaboration are tremendous forces for change.”
Ashoka Globalizers are selected through a rigorous internal selection process, as those leaders with the greatest potential for catalyzing global systems change. These entrepreneurs are challenged to further refine their leading social innovations, in order to adapt their strategies for accelerated global spread.
Dr. Robèrt is gearing up for his first Ashoka Globalizer Summit in Stockholm from March 26-28th.
