McCain's President & CEO Max Koeune Speaks About Regenerative Agriculture and Farms of the Future
On September 24th, Max Koeune, President & CEO of McCain Foods Limited participated in a virtual event organized by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), and the UN Biological Diversity Convention (CBD).
Being a member of the One Planet Business for Biodiversity (OP2B) coalition, McCain Foods was invited to speak on a Nature For Life Hub Session titled "Nature for Prosperity: Nature-based jobs and livelihoods – toward a new definition of nature-based prosperity."
In this session, Max spoke about improving supply and value chains to ensure prosperity. In particular, he spoke of transitioning to regenerative agricultural practices that restore health and biodiversity, protect groundwater and reduce greenhouse gas emissions,. He also touched on the importance of data and analytics and the work we are doing with our Farms of the Future program.
