The subject of a recent GreenBiz article, Lack of Clear Policies Remains Biggest Hurdle to Smart Grid Success, notes this roadblock is making big news in what should be a smoother transition. As the article describes, the adoption of this required technology upgrade is not a function of acknowledgement or even buy-in. The source of the Smart Grid woes is currently a lack of direction and empowerment.
