Legg Mason Builds Bikes for a Cause

Two Legg Mason teams, US Product and Global Distribution, individually hosted their own build a bike events to benefit local organizations in their communities.

To build a bicycle, groups encountered challenges, puzzles to solve, codes to decipher and secrets to unlock in order to acquire the parts - all with the realization that when a group works together, they accomplish a lot more.

Jeff Masom, Co-Head of US Sales noted, "This was a terrific activity which strengthened our team, but more importantly, made a small difference in our community. Legg Mason was proud to be a part of this effort."

In Baltimore, MD all bikes assembled were given to Living Classrooms Foundation. The team in Stamford, CT donated the bikes to the Stamford Family YMCA.

Employees were happy to be involved with this team building exercise while also bringing a smile to many children's faces.
