Conflict-Free Sourcing Initiative Names Source Intelligence as First Official Vendor Member to Further Enhance Resources, Networks
October 7, 2016 /3BL Media/ - Source Intelligence today announced it has become an official vendor member of the Conflict-Free Sourcing Initiative (CFSI) to further facilitate the exchange of supply chain data and technical information in the quest for global ethical sourcing of materials.
The CFSI, an initiative of the Electronic Industry Citizenship Coalition (EICC), made Source Intelligence its first official vendor member following years of collaboration between the two organizations to help create comprehensive databases and supply chain tracking systems that identify smelters and refiners that are not processing minerals used to fund deadly conflicts in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
