Since its founding, Make-A-Wish^® has granted more than 254,000 wishes to children with life-threatening medical conditions. Last year alone, the organization granted more than 14,200 wishes. Behind those numbers are children who have a powerful connection to their particular wish and chapters that work tirelessly to make the wishes happen. What people may not realize is that Make-A-Wish is composed of 61 individual chapters that serve every community in the United States and its territories. The chapter structure allows each wish to receive individualized care and attention and allows the wish granters to craft an unforgettable wish experience.
