The Challenges to be the Best Place to Work
(3BL Media) July 5, 2012 - One of the four pillars on which rests our policy of Corporate Social Responsibility in Banorte-Ixe is the Ethics and Quality of Life in the Company, the responsibility to provide favorable working conditions and low ethical standards that promote both personal development, as professionals, inside and outside the workplace, noted Mayra Hernandez, Director of Corporate Social Responsibility, and Jose Luis Corona, Director of Organizational Culture, in a lecture to Responsable.net in University of the Valley of Mexico.
The implementation of this pillar in our day-to-day was one of the key factors to have been designated "A Great Place to Work" in the top ten of the Great Place to Work Institute, which placed us sixth in the ranking of companies with more than 5,000 employees, and in the second place among the financial sector institutions.
"In Banorte, Corporate Social Responsibility is an important part of our business strategy," said Mayra Hernandez and Jose Luis Corona, mentioning that the challenges to overcome to remain one of the best places to work are among the most important is the involvement of senior management of Banorte-Ixe in CSR activities, promoting a culture of trust and consistency, act with perseverance and consistency when there is resistance to change, and a good communication strategy and change management.
