AOL Impact
To support Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October, AOL is supporting the cause by donating media space on AOL.com's 'Cause of the Day' module and the AOL Mail sign-in page to highlight relevant breast cancer awareness organizations throughout the month, including: Susan G. Komen, Ford's Warriors in Pink campaign and Self chec.
In total, we're estimating 300 million impressions and 180,000 click-thrus to the nonprofit websites to raise awareness. Overall, the estimated media value for the placements is over $540,000!
In addtion, 11 AOLers ran a race for Susan G. Komen in New York City to raise money for the organization. If you love to walk or run and want to support the cause, check out this list of events:
- American Cancer Society's annual Making Strides Against Breast Cancer
