Alexion Receives “Prime“ Status for CSR Performance

For the first time, Alexion has been awarded Prime Status rating for its best-in-class performance in Environmental, Social, Governance (ESG) sustainable practices by the Institutional Shareholder Services (ISS). The ISS is a proxy advisory and corporate governance solutions firm whose high-quality data, analytics, and insights empower investors to build for long-term, sustainable growth in their portfolios. The rating not only evaluates our policies and declarations of intent, it also assesses the sustainability performance of our products and production processes, for example, eco-design, environmental pollution, and eco-efficiency. Alexion’s award of this high rating is a significant accomplishment, as ISS assesses a pool of over 800 ESG indicators which is constantly being revised and updated to cover all relevant ESG issues.
