Alexion Is Proud to Be Recognized by OSHA for Our Commitment to Workplace Health and Safety

Alexion is proud to have its New Haven, CT and Bogart, GA sites recognized by OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) for their commitment to workplace health and safety. Both sites participated in OSHA’s Safe + Sound Week, which incorporated fun virtual activities that helped to highlight Alexion’s strong culture of safety, including ways to be #SafeAndSoundAtWork and creating a pledge to practice safety at work.

“I am so proud of New Haven’s participation in this year’s OSHA Safe + Sound Week and we are grateful to our friends from the Bogart site who joined us in the fun this year. Despite the challenges of 2020, both sites created new ways to participate and celebrate all of Alexion’s safety success,” says Sarah Morgis, Coordinator of the Environmental Health & Safety team.

“We were very excited to join New Haven in the celebration of Safe + Sound Week this year.  It was exciting to see the participation across our site. To see and hear that we are working safely not only for our patients but for our families, too, was a true sign of a strong safety culture – a culture that we all are proud to represent,” says Fran Noyes, Environmental Health & Safety Engineer.
